Extensive practice
sessions in simultaneous interpretation and sight translation, as well
as further consecutive interpretation; some handouts. Lots of
note-taking. Necessary legal terminology in both languages, with
examples from actual documents used by interpreters or from which
interpreters must interpret. Practice tapes for simultaneous will be
made available in English.
Each interpreter must
bring the following:
Two tape recorders, 1 set earphones, 1 microphone, 1 blank 60 min. tape,
extension cable for tape recorders
